Our goal is to raise more than $45,000

100% of the funds that we raise will directly help our school!

We encourage all students to participate and show their school pride by collecting donations from family, friends, and the community. If each student contributes approximately $50, we can easily reach this target! Donate from September 3rd through September 23rd to be eligible for the prizes.

The funds raised will be used for the following items:

  1. Digital Signage on Old Norcross: Our road sign is beyond repair, and we need to replace it to share good news with the community!
  2. Flexible Classroom Seating in the SRC: We need to update our outdated tables and chairs for teachers and students!
  3. New Speakers for the Cafe: Our current sound system is almost beyond repair. We need a new system that will support the many school events throughout the year.
  4. New Tent for the Patio: The current patio tent will need to be replaced soon.
  5. Laptop Charging Towers: We need to replace broken charging stations, and teachers are always requesting more for their classrooms to support laptop use during instruction.
  6. Supplies for GSMST Mural: We are getting a student designed mural installed and will need supplies!
  7. PBIS Student Celebrations & Prizes: Our PBIS Committee needs funding to purchase food for the Fall and Spring student celebration. They also need funds to purchase additional student prizes throughout the year!
  8. As well as to support ALL GSMST TEACHERS and their respective Department Needs.

Dear Parents, Students, and GSMST Community,

On behalf of the GSMST PTSA, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions during our fundraising campaign. Together, we were able to raise an incredible $22,465.05! Your support truly reflects the dedication and spirit of our GSMST family.

Celebrating Teacher Contributions

We are thrilled to recognize the teachers who played a significant role in this success:

  • Top 3 Teachers with the Highest Donations:
    • Mrs. Orozco
    • Dr. Shaw
    • Mrs. A. Phillips

These teachers will each receive a $125 gift card and a planning day with substitute coverage as a token of our appreciation.

Additionally, the following teachers also ranked among those with the most donations and will each be awarded a $75 gift card and 1 sub-covered planning day:

  • Mr. Merchant
  • Dr. Cox
  • Mrs. Amaya
  • Mrs. Leazenbee

We deeply appreciate their dedication and enthusiasm in engaging with our fundraising efforts!

Supporting Our School’s Needs

Thanks to your generosity, we are excited to announce that we will be able to fulfill several key items from the school’s wish list, including:

  • Signage Replacement on Old Norcross – $5,000
  • Charging Towers for Students – $3,360
  • New Patio Tent – $4,000
  • Collaboration Chairs for the SRC – $4,800

These additions will significantly enhance our school environment and benefit our students and staff in meaningful ways.
